What to Expect

Our Sunday mornings begin with a Sunday School class that starts at 9am. Following the Biblical instruction during Sunday School, there is a time of fellowship with complimentary coffee, tea, and water in our Family Room. The regular service begins at 10:30 AM. When arriving at the church you will find a more than adequate large parking lot on the north side of the church. We ask that all attending only enter through the front door near the flag on the west side the church. Handicap parking is available at the front entrance.

The essential elements of an LCF service are all found in Scripture. This philosophy of ministry is commonly referred to as the “Regulative Principle of Worship.” With the Bible as our guide, here are the disciplines that we practice: a call to worship, the singing of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, the public reading of Scripture, prayer, expository preaching, giving, communion (1st Sunday of every month), baptism (when applicable), a closing benediction and fellowship. As for our singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs we utilize “Psalms and Hymns to the Living God” as our hymnal. This hymnal was produced by G3 Ministries and provides us with a thoroughly vetted, doctrinally sound hymnal comprised of all 150 Psalms and rich hymnody from the past and present.

Children

At LCF we believe in a family integrated approach towards our worship service. We do provide an attended nursery for Infants through 3yrs of age during the regular service. As for children ages 4 and above, we encourage families to worship together. We believe they learn best by example and imitation of the body. Furthermore, we do provide moms and their infant children access to a cry/nursing room when more privacy is needed or desired. That room includes a TV with a livestream of the service as well.
